Dear Members,

I would like to thank those members who took the time to complete the members survey recently. The club recorded an above average response rate and will now work towards analysing the data before implementing some changes with an aim to improve your club experience when you next visit.

🏉 AFL Footy Tipping Results
Round 9 winner is 'SteveB' - Congratulations! come claim your 6 pack of beer OR bottles of wine from reception.

Sunday saw Eagles heat up Optus Stadium with a mighty win against the Richmond Tigers. The boys are looking strong this season so let's wait and see what happens! Unfortunately, our Freo Dockers were up against the wall against the Swans on Friday so hopefully they can turn that around soon. We're looking forward to Round 10 already - get pumped and drop by the club for a game or two.

🚷 Criminal Activity
In recent times there has been a slight increase in criminal and antisocial activity around the Nedlands, Freshwater Bay and East Fremantle areas. In response to this increase Water Police continues to provide both a proactive approach and reactive response using vessels, vehicles and foot patrols in attempt to reduce these incidents. Water Police would like to remind you to;

· Record all details of your boat and equipment, including serial numbers, and keep this list in a safe place.
· Engrave your valuable items. You can use your driver’s license number.
· Mark your dinghy with an identifying feature such as your driver’s licence number.
· Fit an anti-theft device to your trailer.
· Fit a quality lock to your boat.
· Remove valuable items from your boat when you leave it unattended. If you have to leave valuables on board, ensure they are out- of- sight.
· If you are leaving your vehicle parked on shore while you go boating, please make certain that you leave NO valuables behind and that you secure your vehicle properly.
· Consider fitting a quality alarm to your boat.
· Don’t leave alcohol on your vessel or in sight.
· Don’t leave keys on your boat. Take them with you.

If your vessel is broken into, stolen or damaged contact the Police Assistance Centre (PAC) on Tel:131444 to make a report. When a crime is in progress or in a life threating situation, dial 000.
